Best Practices for Agritourism: Visitor Engagement and Risk Management Workshop

Whether you are exploring agritourism options or looking to improve existing ventures, join ASAP for a half-day workshop on strengthening your farm brand through on-farm experiences. This workshop will include hands-on learning and discussion of visitor engagement strategies, risk management and liability considerations, and best practices for turning farm visitors into return customers. The workshop will be held at Ivy Creek Family Farm, a working farm which hosts on-farm experiences and events. A light breakfast and lunch will be provided. Scholarships are available for new and beginning farms (10 years or less as a primary operator).

Location: Ivy Creek Family Farm, 390 N. Fork Rd, Barnardsville, NC
Cost: $20 per person, or $30 for two farm partners
