Bristol CSA Fair (TN)

March 16, 2019 @ 10:00 am - 2:00 pm

What is a CSA? A Community Supported Agriculture Share (CSA) is a subscription to a local farm for a share of production. Farms offer different goods and different purchasing options depending on the needs of the consumer and farmers. In most cases you pre-purchase a portion or all of your share at the beginning of the season. This gives the farmer the initial boost they need to plant crops while allowing you, the consumer to have a close relationship with where your food is coming from. At our CSA Fairs, you have the opportunity to meet farmers who offer CSAs locally so that you can find the one that is exactly right for you and your family!

This event is free to attend. General attendees, no registration needed; you only need to show up! 🙂

**Please note, all three CSA fairs will run from 10 – 3 this year, but for the Bristol one in particular the bulk of the farms will be present from 12pm – 3pm due to the Abingdon Farmers Market.**

If you are a farmer who offers CSA, and would like to set up a table, please register here if you have not already done so:
