Country (non-grape) Winemaking

The class emphasis is on how to make the common everyday fruit/berry/vegetable/flower wines our ancestors did with readily available supplies from your kitchen. A handout with popular Country Winemaking Recipes will be provided. The class will cover the original American Wines that were made by our ancestors in the mountains and frontier homesteads using locally available fruits and vegetables. The unique treatments for making fruit, vegetable, root, flower & berry wines will be covered.
