Come learn about the agricultural and political climate and the work of Food First with Executive Director and Food Justice Author Eric Holt Gimenez.

This 1-hour Skype session will cover food sovereignty work happening in the US and globally, the importance of the Cuban organic agriculture movement, and an introduction of the food justice organization Food First.

Also learn about Organic Growers School’s upcoming trip to Cuba with Tour Coordinator Sera Deva.

Participants will have the option to stay for a 45 minute showing of the film The Power of Community after the presentation.
