“FreshAir” Cheesemaking: Fantastic Feta!

Carolina Curd presents “FreshAir” Cheesemaking – Enjoy a fun experience making your own Fantastic Feta! In this class, participants learn how to make feta with cow’s milk and discuss what is different about making it with goat or sheep milk. We learn how to drain and dry the cheese and how to make brine for salting and storing our cheeses. This is a terrific class for introducing the basic steps in creating a bacterial ripened, fully rennetted cheese! “FreshAir” Cheesemaking classes are being taught at a spacious, OUTSIDE location in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Participants will be required to adhere to Carolina Curd’s Program Participation Guidelines to help prevent the spread of COVID-19. (max participants: 4) Course Length: approximately 3 hours
