Soil and Water Management Workshop

Come learn about effective on-farm soil and water management using key line plowing and rotary harrowing techniques!
​Have erosion, flooding, or drainage issues on your farm? Want to improve soil fertility? Against the Grain Farm has been using key line plowing and rotary harrowing techniques on their farm for several years and have seen a significant change in the direction of the water drainage and the soil health of their land.
Come learn about and see the results of these techniques as well as learning about biochar at
ATG with owner, Holly Whitesides, and agricultural extension agent Richard Boylan. Workshop begins November 7th at 2pm with informal potluck to follow, please bring a dish to share!
