Our first-ever Farm Tour kickoff party is coming right up: Thursday, September 19, from 6 until 9 pm. (That means our 2013 Farm Tour is almost here, September 21 and 22.) Sunny Point Cafe is graciously hosting the Spade to Spoon Social—as well as generously donating a percentage of sales to ASAP—and they’ve put together one mouthwatering menu!

$20 gets you five tickets to redeem at these stations for drinks and local dishes:

  • Salad station; enjoy a Bibb lettuce and blue cheese salad with lettuce from Nesbitt Farms
  • Cheesy station; nosh on savory focaccia bread with roasted tomatoes, garden dandelion basil pesto, and Looking Glass Creamery goat cheese
  • Sunburst station; taste trout sliders with a lemon tarragon aioli
  • BBQ station; dine on Hickory Nut Gap Farm/Mr. Suave’s Tortilleria dried cherry BBQ pork butt tacos in fresh locally made corn tortillas topped with a savory slaw
  • Sunny Point station; feast on bounty from the restaurant’s garden in a late-summer succotash of heirloom green beans, heirloom tomatoes, and fresh sage
  • Ice cream station; indulge in bacon pistachio ice cream with bacon pistachio brittle and salted Haw Creek Honey ice cream with a garden lavender honey shortbread
  • Beer station; Highland Brewing, Foothills Brewing, Pisgah Brewing, New Belgium Brewing, and Sierra Nevada Brewing are all donating drinks for the event
