Each week, our programs take you behind the scenes of their work. This week, our communications team talks about work that has been a long time coming: the redevelopment of ASAP’s main website, asapconnections.org! The old site was a great resource but needed an overhaul, so the team—spearheaded by our web coordinator—rolled up their sleeves and made it happen. Keep reading for an introduction and quick user guide.

We are very excited about the launch of our new website at asapconnections.org. ASAP’s website is such an important resource for local food supporters, farmers, and Appalachian Grown partners in the Southern Appalachians, but it has always been a challenge to present such a wealth of information on the web. With the help of our wonderful designer, June Allison, we spent a lot of time thinking about our new menu system and the sections therein; so, make sure to click on each section tab to find out all of the resources they contain. You’ll also find deeper navigation in the sidebar and links to further your reading. Here are some other things to note:
